After assigning your website to me, the first thing I will do is look into the keywords you want to rank and then do competitive research of your main competitor's ranking position, website analysis, backlink analysis, etc.
The next step is to run an SEO audit for your whole website and fix the technical and On-page errors including fixing meta title and meta description, Alt tag, the header tag, content optimization, internal and external linking, schema and open graph tag, and website speed optimization for the website. The main purpose is to optimize the whole website. Also, I will optimize the product pages with relevant keywords.
After optimizing the whole website, my key goal is to get authority backlinks for high DA websites. I will follow different backlink strategies like guest posting, local citation, broken link building, link placement, etc.
Actually, it depends on several factors like SEO score, technical & On-page SEO, content optimization according to SEO ranking factors, acquiring quality backlinks, and most importantly Keyword difficulty and competition of your niche. If you choose some highly competitive keywords and your website hasn’t optimized yet, then it will take some time (maybe over 6 months) to rank your website. However, I prefer 6 months contract to see some good results in terms of ranking some important keywords. And that's what I can guarantee!
After assigning your project, the first week I will do broad keyword research and let you know which keywords you might rank in the first 6 months. It depends on the keyword difficulty and the status of your website. For example, if your website is new and hasn’t optimized yet, and the keywords you want to rank are highly competitive (>70-90), then it might not be possible to rank those keywords in such a given time. In that condition, it will be wise to target some low competitive keywords and rank them for your website.
